Director of Data & Analytics The Director of Data & Analytics is responsible for leading the organization's data engineering capabilities, reporting, and the enterprise data governance framework. This role partners closely with leadership and operational stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights that drive performance, quality, and financial outcomes, particularly within Value-Based Care and population health initiatives. The Director ensures data is trusted, secure, well-defined, and compliant while enabling scalable, agile analytics delivery. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the enterprise data and analytics roadmap aligned with business, clinical, and financial objectives
- Serve as an advisor to leadership on data-driven decision-making
- Establish analytics standards, governance models, and best practices across the organization
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, regulatory requirements, and operational impact People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of dashboard/report developers, data engineers, and analysts
- Set performance expectations, career development plans, and succession strategies
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Oversee design and delivery of analytics dashboards/reports, scorecards, and self-service analytics
- Ensure analytics solutions are intuitive, accurate, and widely adopted
- Drive consistent KPI definitions using governed semantic models and certified datasets Data Engineering & Platform
- Own ETL processes, data pipelines, and integrations across internal and external sources
- Lead adoption and optimization of Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse architecture and OneLake
- Ensure data modeling, SQL performance optimization, security, and scalability Data Governance, Quality & Compliance
- Establish and lead an enterprise data governance framework, including ownership, stewardship, and standards
- Define and maintain enterprise data definitions, KPIs, and business glossaries
- Implement data quality monitoring, validation rules, and remediation processes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, privacy, and security regulations
- Institute a governance structure focused on safe, secure, and compliant use of AI or Machine Learning technologies Agile, Scrum & Delivery Execution
- Lead analytics delivery using Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Partner with Product Owners to translate needs into epics, features, and user stories
- Oversee sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Use Jira to manage backlogs, sprint execution, dependencies, and delivery transparency Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence
- 3+ years of people management experience leading teams
- Strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server, ETL processes, and Microsoft Fabric
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile and Scrum-based delivery using Jira
- Experience establishing or leading enterprise data governance practices
- Experience supporting Value-Based Care or healthcare analytics Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master, Agile, or SAFe certification
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks at scale
- Healthcare payer, provider, or population health experience
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments Nature of Work

Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 Per Year
