Information Systems Specialist, Lead Georgia State University - 4.0 Atlanta, GA Job Details Full-time $55,100 - $69,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications Educational administrative software Banner Student information system CRM system proficiency Full Job Description Information Specialist Lead Office of Undergraduate Admissions The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks an experienced Information Systems Specialist, Lead to support the technology infrastructure that drives recruitment and application processing. This position is responsible for the day-to-day execution of CRM (Slate) and Banner operations, ensuring data accuracy, efficient workflows, and timely processing of admissions-related information. The role supervises the Data and Technology Team at the task level and implements technical processes as directed by the Director of Processing and Technology. Essential Duties & Responsibilities CRM Operations and Configuration Execute and monitor daily CRM activities, including rules, workflows, imports, and data updates, as directed by the Director. Configure forms, uploads, and queries in Slate to support recruitment and application processing needs. Perform data integrity checks and resolve errors in Slate and Banner systems including Axiom. Conduct annual Banner testing and assist with system updates and maintenance. Ensure orate with the Director to ensure all Slate components that students interact with meet ADA accessibility standards and comply with university accessibility guidelines. Data Integrity and Quality Control Implement processes to ensure accurate and timely data entry for prospects, applicants, admits, and confirmed students. Run quality control reports and reconcile data discrepancies according to established standards. Technical File Management and System Maintenance Manage technical file imports and data exchanges from external sources (e.g., test scores, transcripts) following established procedures. Monitor automated jobs and troubleshoot failed imports or processing errors. Team Supervision, HR Coordination, and Training Provide daily direction and task-level supervision to the Data and Technology Team, including two Information Systems Specialists (Intermediate) and one Enrollment Services Assistant. Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Develop and maintain user guides and training materials for CRM processes. Conduct training sessions for admissions staff on system functionality and updates. Essential Skills & Abilities Strong technical skills in CRM systems (Slate preferred) and student information systems (Banner). Ability to create and maintain queries, reports, and workflows within CRM platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for training and documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of admissions processes and university policies.

Qualifications :
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Five years of experience in information systems or enrollment technology, including supervisory responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
