Boise, ID Job Description The Director of IT & Data is responsible for leading the execution of IT & Data projects that support various departments throughout the business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to develop world-class technology solutions, in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Director of IT & Data will achieve success by removing barriers and providing clarity to the team, to successfully deliver the company's technical roadmap.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT & data team Translate the company's high-level vision into actionable plans for developers and customer support personnel Coordinate the IT & data team to prioritize, decide and deliver projects, including our CAD system, manufacturing data, sales data, customer data, company hardware and datacenters Ensure development efforts remain focused on the highest priority business objectives Coordinate collaboration between other departments on applicable projects and requests Manage multiple projects and responsibilities, including internal team members and third party resources, to execute project completion Manage all resources to the budget Continuously improve processes, workflows, and team performance
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent communication and leadership skills across multiple departments and teams throughout an organization; including executive leadership proposals and updates Technical understanding and experience with
Microsoft Azure Ecosystem (Azure DevOps, Synapse, SQL, Storage, Data Services)
Enterprise Data Platforms & Analytics
Data Architecture, Data Governance & Data Management
AI / OpenAI Initiatives & Process Innovation
Software Development, Implementation & Systems Modernization Ability to solve problems, remove obstacles, and keep projects progressing on track Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Desire and ability to work in-person, not a remote role
