Job Description

Company description Publicis Media harnesses the power of modern media through global agency brands Publicis Collective, Spark Foundry, Starcom and Zenith. A key business solution of Publicis Groupe, Publicis Media's digital-first, data-driven global practices deliver client value and drive growth in a platform-powered world. It is present in more than sixty countries with over 23,000 employees worldwide. Overview What does Zenith Data Governance do? Working across various teams such as Analytics, Engineering, and Technology Activation teams, Data Governance designs and enforces the processes and protocols to manage data effectively across the ecosystem in an effort to maintain quality, consistency, availability of data needed to produce client's marketing performance reports more efficiently. We then work to understand key decision points so we can ensure the correct business logic is applied, documented and executed. Once that data is mined, it helps to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they're talking to the people they want, and if they're doing it the right way. What does a successful Manager look like? We're don't all look the same, and we don't expect you to, either. But successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a problem solving mind, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don't shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more. We look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. You should already be used to representing your team to clients, since Managers are often the face of our Data Governance & Analytics teams. We hope you're a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life. We're also hoping you have at least a year's worth of experience managing junior-level staff members and have at least four years of prior professional experience. What does a Data Governance Manager do day-to-day? Our Managers work very closely with their teams of analysts to help them stay on track with day-to-day deliverables. They also contribute crucial intellectual capital to their teams by help designing and implementing standardized processes and protocols to enable efficient data management; they also behave like Business Analysts who understand client requirements and are able to produce clear documentation to facilitate automation of data processing. Managers also work closely with their Associate Directors to help execute on the practice and department's vision with their team. As such, Managers are mentors, managers, project managers, and thought leaders, all at the same time.
Responsibilities Requirements:
3+ years of experience in media (digital and offline) or a closely related field, with demonstrated progression in scope and responsibility. 1+ years of project management experience. Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both internal stakeholders and external clients. Deep expertise in Publicis OS, including strategic leadership of new client onboarding, OS configuration, and end-to-end data feed enablement. Proven track record of partnering with Product Development leadership to shape product strategy, influence roadmap decisions, and align platform capabilities with evolving business and client needs. Experience working closely with product and engineering teams to prioritize features, balance technical constraints, and drive delivery against roadmap commitments. Hands-on experience with digital media and analytics platforms, including measurement vendors and BI tools such as Tableau. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and analysis of large, complex datasets. Demonstrated ability to deliver world-class client service by translating client and partner needs into scalable solutions and ensuring high-quality execution with urgency and accountability. Bachelor's degree required; degree in a related field preferred (STEM, Economics, Marketing, MIS, BI, or similar). Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Différence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. It means we honor and celebrate all identities, across all facets of intersectionality, and it underpins all that we do as an organization. We are focused on fostering belonging and creating equitable & inclusive experiences for all talent. Publicis Groupe provides robust and inclusive benefit programs and policies to support the evolving and diverse needs of our talent and enable every person to grow and thrive.
