  • Fort Wayne Description The Global Product Information Intern supports the management, enrichment, and quality of product information primarily within the Product Information Management (PIM) system and ERP.
This role contributes to product data accuracy, completeness, and consistency while gaining hands‑on experience with global data governance practices and digital product information workflows. The Intern partners with Digital & eCommerce, Commercial, Product Management, IT, and regional teams to support day‑to‑day product data activities across internal systems and external channels. The role is designed to build foundational skills in product data management, analytics, and governance within a global environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Support product data enrichment, validation, and maintenance activities within PIM and ERP systems
  • Assist with data quality audits, scorecards, and reporting to identify data gaps and inconsistencies
  • Perform data cleansing and preparation tasks using Excel, Power BI, and scripting tools under guidance
  • Help document product attributes, definitions, and data standards to support governance initiatives
  • Support mass updates, imports, and exports of product data following defined processes
  • Assist in preparing dashboards, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Participate in cross‑functional collaboration to understand product data requirements and workflows
  • Support ad hoc data governance activities related to data quality, standards, and ownership, including initiatives that may extend beyond product information
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency or automate repeatable data tasks, escalating ideas to senior team members Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Ability to work with large datasets and follow structured data standards and processes
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills with an interest in data quality and governance
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and data concepts
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a global, cross‑functional team environment Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field
  • Coursework or academic projects involving data analysis, databases, or information systems preferred
