  • PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
  • The Product Manager represents the "voice of the client" and is accountable for delivering measurable business value through data products.
This role partners with clients and internal stakeholders to identify needs, define product opportunities, and translate them into actionable requirements. The Product Manager owns the product backlog, roadmap, and outcomes, ensuring alignment between business priorities, client impact, and technical feasibility while supporting predictable delivery.
  • ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES MAY INCLUDE
  • Set product vision & roadmap + Performs external and internal discovery to identify client needs, market opportunities, and business priorities, incorporating technical constraints, platform standards, and architectural considerations into product direction.
+ Collaborates with Operations, Sales, and Product leadership to ensure strategic alignment, secure sign‑off on key business decisions, and balance functional and technical tradeoffs. + Works with the Product Director to develop and maintain a product roadmap and backlog, adjust scope and prioritization, and ensure product functionality aligns with technical feasibility. + Defines and tracks product success metrics (e.g., adoption, usage, NPS, revenue/retention impact), represents the "voice of the client," and communicates roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders. Oversee, coordinate & support development work + Works with technical resources on Data Products team to estimate effort required to complete requests and allocates capacity accordingly. + Translates client and stakeholder requirements into clear product problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and gather necessary inputs to execute technical build. + Participates in end-to-end product design activities, ensuring solutions are intuitive and aligned with client workflows. + Ensures product strategy, requirements, and priorities are clearly understood by data engineering and analytics teams. + Understands and helps coordinate intra‑team and external dependencies as applicable. + Collects, tracks, and reports KPI data to support Product Group OKRs and monitor performance metrics such as efficiency and quality. + Participates in sprint ceremonies and evaluation meetings (e.g., planning, reviews, retrospectives). + Contributes to IT and product documentation as needed. Tactical + Leads client feedback sessions, and supports go-to-market readiness, including training materials and release communications. + Documents product decisions, use cases, and release notes to ensure alignment on product vision, scope, and trade-offs. + Maintains a holistic understanding of business processes and internal system configurations impacting the product and evaluates technical implications of proposed changes. + Serves as a primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements, risks, assumptions, and delivery decisions. + Provides product expertise, consultation, and support for release readiness, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement activities.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Eight (8) years' experience in product strategy, product management or requirements intake role.
+ Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools and experience writing and managing user stories + Cross‑functional collaboration, with the ability to build productive relationships with technical and non‑technical partners + Business and technology acumen, including understanding customer needs, technical concepts, and business strategy
