JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY
Responsible for planning and directing the resources necessary to develop, support, and deliver the information services required of the enterprise by performing the following duties. This job may be a specialist in one (or more) of four areas. See the "Specialties" section for specifics. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of Programmer/Analysts, Senior Programmer/Analysts, Technical Analysts and Architects, and Database Administrators and Architects.
Maintains effective communication within the team.
Maintains effective communication between the team and the users of information systems.
Maintains effective communication with team members concerning performance against goals.
Ensures adequate staffing and training to support Production and Business Continuity of assigned software systems and applications.
Plans, schedules, assigns, monitors and directs activities of team members on technical and operational projects and during regular departmental activities.
Reviews assignments of team members to ensure a balanced workload across the team and priorities are being met.
Reviews the work of team members, ensuring standards are being met.
Provides leadership including, but not limited to, setting a good example for team members to follow regarding work ethic, being a positive influence and helping with complex issues.
Develops team members by providing consistent direction, technical and leadership training where appropriate, recognizing achievement, and maximizing the talents and abilities of team members.
Project Management:
Consults with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, suggest changes and determine extent of programming and coding required.
Plans and coordinates projects involving software systems and applications in assigned area.
Researches requirements for, determines staffing availability, determines user priority needs, and assigns projects accordingly.
Reviews the progress of projects and the work done by team members to ensure that schedules and objectives are met.
Plans, tests, trains, and staffs for Business Continuity efforts.
Assigns, coordinates, and reviews work of programming personnel.
Analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, compatibility with other systems and computer capabilities.
Develops and maintains plans outlining steps and time tables for developing, testing and installing applications.
Ensures that projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
Reviews projects to ensure that quality is being emphasized.
Secondary Duties:
Works to expand knowledge of banking and the business function being serviced.
Trains subordinates in programming, program coding, and database administration.
Revises or directs revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.

Manage a team of data warehouse & ETL engineers to deliver timely, high quality product releases
Champion the use of ETL and other data integration technologies to be used within the product and across the organization
Lead in the implementation of enterprise-class data warehouse architectures with online and batch based integration

Manage the portfolio of web delivery projects
Collaborate with internal technical teams on client requirements
Insure solutions fully leverage existing platform functionality

Data Management Specialist
Responsibilities:
Manages and provides technical leadership to a team of Database administrators installing DBMS software, creating Database instances and continued maintenance of these environments.
Manages and provides technical leadership to a team of DBAs planning and developing database structures.
Manages the development of database policies and procedures in the area of Security and Compliance; Backup and Recovery and Application Infrastructure.
Maintains data integrity by establishing standards and monitoring performance.
Maintains database performance by developing Tuning methodologies.

Reporting Services Specialist
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of reporting specialists to construct and deliver OLAP and OLTP reporting solutions
Manage corporate reporting environment including designing corporate reporting framework
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand key metrics and key performance indicators
Create organization-specific dashboards that allow stakeholders to track key metrics and performance versus goals in real time
Create core business analytic reports for Lines of Business and Corporate Support Units which will be used on a daily basis to monitor business performance
Lead web-based analytics reporting efforts to track and summarize key performance metrics
Create automated reporting tools to accurately track metrics in real time
Deliver ad-hoc query results to various business units
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of relational databases using SQL language and ODBC connectivity
Experience mining and analyzing data; ability to investigate data anomalies

Directly supervises 5 - 10 employees in the Data Services department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor degree and at least ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience with a developed expertise in a particular area or function of programming
Prefer a BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar degree
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Design software; Development software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Payroll systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Strong knowledge of banking business applications is preferred
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook email program, their processes and their interdependencies
