Director of Information Systems ???? Boston, MA | ???? Full-Time Leadership Role We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Information Systems to lead IT operations, cybersecurity, and systems innovation for a mission-driven organization making a real impact in the community. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure technology infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals . ???? What You'll Do ???? Lead the development and execution of IT strategy , ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future growth ???? Oversee all aspects of cybersecurity, IT risk management, and regulatory compliance (including HIPAA) ???? Identify system vulnerabilities and implement proactive solutions to strengthen the organization's security posture ???? Drive IT service delivery , ensuring reliable, efficient, and user-focused technology support across the organization ???? Own and manage the Salesforce ecosystem , including roadmap planning, enhancements, and cross-functional implementations ???? Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technology solutions that improve operations and reporting ???? Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks ???? Monitor network performance and usage to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices ???? Lead, mentor, and develop internal IT staff while managing external vendors and strategic partners ???? Stay ahead of emerging trends in technology, cybersecurity threats, and innovation , bringing forward-thinking solutions to the organization ? What We're Looking For ?? Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role (Director, Head of IT, or equivalent) with responsibility for strategy and execution ?? Strong expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance frameworks, and data protection ?? Hands-on experience with Salesforce , including administration, system ownership, and cross-department implementations ?? Solid background in IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery management ?? Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments ?? Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams , manage vendors, and collaborate across multiple departments ?? Strong project management skills , with the ability to prioritize and execute across competing initiatives ?? Familiarity with data collection, reporting, and dashboard development to support business decision-making ?? Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for leadership ??
