Job Description
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Duties- Develops and administers secure Knowledge Management (KM) programs, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture through training and strategic guidance.
- Coordinates high-priority, time-sensitive taskers using internal and external management systems to ensure timely, high-quality responses.
- Analyzes Knowledge Management (KM) system effectiveness, using performance metrics to collaborate on and implement solutions that address operational needs.
- Manages technical projects from concept to completion, contributing to system design and tailoring solutions to meet user and mission requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- May be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a
TOP SECRET SCI
clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.- This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.

assisting with the capture, organization, and dissemination of organizational data; supporting the administration of enterprise knowledge-sharing platforms to ensure regulatory and legal compliance; and participating in the development of taxonomies and long-range planning for the integration of new KM systems, typically performed under direct supervision.
