KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Duties

• Develops and administers secure Knowledge Management (KM) programs, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture through training and strategic guidance.
• Coordinates high-priority, time-sensitive taskers using internal and external management systems to ensure timely, high-quality responses.
• Analyzes Knowledge Management (KM) system effectiveness, using performance metrics to collaborate on and implement solutions that address operational needs.
• Manages technical projects from concept to completion, contributing to system design and tailoring solutions to meet user and mission requirements. Requirements Conditions of employment
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• May be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.

This includes experience:

assisting with the capture, organization, and dissemination of organizational data; supporting the administration of enterprise knowledge-sharing platforms to ensure regulatory and legal compliance; and participating in the development of taxonomies and long-range planning for the integration of new KM systems, typically performed under direct supervision. EDUCATION:
