As a Visitor Information Specialist, you'll be the friendly face welcoming travelers to Greater Portland, answering questions, offering recommendations, and helping visitors discover everything that makes Maine special, from iconic lighthouses and local restaurants to hidden gems and unforgettable experiences. This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do Welcome arriving passengers and provide a positive first impression of Portland and Maine Assist travelers with directions, transportation, baggage claim, parking, rental cars, and general Jetport navigation Share recommendations on local attractions, dining, lodging, events, and activities Distribute visitor guides, maps, and tourism information Maintain an organized, fully stocked visitor information area Track visitor interactions and assist with basic administrative duties Work collaboratively with fellow team members and Jetport staff What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stand and actively engage with visitors during busy arrival periods Comfortable multitasking and problem-solving in a public-facing environment Knowledge of Portland and Maine attractions, restaurants, and activities is a plus Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Why Join Visit Portland?
