Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect with strong expertise in the Teradata ecosystem to support and administer a large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment. The role involves platform administration, performance optimization, system maintenance, security, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure a highly available and scalable data warehouse infrastructure. Required Experience (8+ Years) : Teradata Database Administration Teradata upgrades, provisioning, and software maintenance Scripting using BASH, Perl, Python, and Glink Teradata ecosystem health monitoring Teradata node management Teradata Viewpoint Administration Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) PSIM (Platform Services Intelligent Monitoring) Administration Teradata workload management Teradata backup and recovery Performance tuning and resource optimization ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Unix/Linux Administration Cloud computing fundamentals, networking, and resource allocation (preferably Microsoft Azure) Statistics and capacity planning Security audits and compliance Experience with federal security standards including

NIST 800-53, IRS

Publication 1075, SSA, Medicaid , or similar compliance frameworks

Key Responsibilities :

Administer and support multiple Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse environments. Perform platform upgrades, patch management, and software maintenance. Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization. Troubleshoot complex platform issues and coordinate with vendors. Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity. Implement workload management and performance optimization strategies. Provide operating system guidance and security expertise. Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards. Support department DBAs and technical teams across the enterprise. Participate in long-term architecture planning and platform strategy.
