Job Description
Specialist Michigan Automotive Compressor, Inc. (MACI), a world-class manufacturer of air conditioning compressors and magnetic clutches. MACI is a joint venture between Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) and DENSO. Not only are we the largest manufacturer in Jackson County, we also hold the largest market share in North America. We attribute our success to our commitment to quality. The Data Architect Specialist will help design and implement a scalable analytics solution utilizing the Microsoft Fabric platform, Microsoft Foundry, and PowerBI. The position will help design a new deployment of Microsoft Fabric and be responsible for data from ingestion through presentation with data from SQL Server, IMB DB2, manufacturing data collect, and carious other sources. Candidates should be experienced with business process analysis and possess strong design and data manipulation skills. Core Responsibilities The Data Architect Specialist is responsible for the following but not limited to:
Data Ingestion & Orchestration:
Design and manage automated data movement into Microsoft Fabric. Work with end users to analyze business and systems to determine necessary data for desired outputs. Design and secure data structures and pipelines.Transformation & Processing:
Develop complex data processing to clean, build, and prepare data for PowerBI and user analysis.Architecture Management:
Implement and optimize Lakehouse and Data Warehouse structures within Microsoft OneLake. Creation of data agents and semantic models.PowerBI :
Assist with creation of visualization and report templates for end users.Microsoft Foundry:
Utilize Foundry to build AI applications and agents to augment data analysis in Microsoft Fabric.Key Skills & Qualifications:
Database:
Strong command of TSQL and SQL Server. Knowledge of IBM DB2 a plusData Integration & Security :
Expertise in building pipelines (ETL/ETL), data integration, data governance, and implementing security frameworks for sensitive data.Technical Proficiency:
Advanced skills SQL Kusto Query Language (KQL), PySpark, and Spark configuration for large-scale data processing.Fabric Components:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Factory, Foundry, and PowerBI.Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or greater. 2-4 years of experience desired. Willing to consider less experience for the right candidate.Benefits:
