The Photo and Information Specialist supports front desk operations by assisting with customer service, facilitating photo identification services, supporting administrative processes, assisting with Lost and Found services, and maintaining a professional and organized service environment. This position plays an essential role in daily service operations and provides support to students, employees, and campus visitors while ensuring efficient and accurate assistance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Greet students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner.
Respond to general inquiries in person, by phone, and through email communication.
Photograph, process, and print identification cards for students, faculty, and staff.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process electronic payments accurately and efficiently.
Provide accurate information regarding office services, pricing, hours of operation, and departmental policies.
Perform other job duties assigned Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). One (1) year of college union or guest services experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to review work for accuracy and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to providing responsive, courteous, and professional support to clients. Proficiency with computer applications and office productivity tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and database systems. Must be reliable and maintain dependable attendance in accordance with departmental and university attendance policies.
Preferred Qualifications
