Competitive + benefits Our client, a leading fully integrated construction management and development contractor, is seeking a collaborative and driven MEP Manager to join their Data Centers & Mission Critical team. The Role As MEP Manager, you will be responsible for leading all activities related to construction startup, commissioning, and delivery of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with contract requirements, project schedules, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of key project elements, including preparation of construction documents and RFP packages with accurate MEP scope definitions Manage MEP subcontractors, trade partners, and vendors Oversee project budgets, including tracking and cost control Support subcontract development, including drafting trade-specific terms and conditions Lead and manage the commissioning process, including third-party coordination, system documentation, training, and client handover Maintain submittal schedules, tracking logs, and deficiency logs Oversee equipment procurement and coordinate deliveries aligned with project timelines Develop, track, and maintain MEP critical path schedules Manage change order processes, including both owner change requests and subcontractor change orders Facilitate preconstruction and coordination meetings with project teams and trades Develop and implement methods of procedure (MOPs) for work within live or critical environments Lead quality control processes for MEP installation, startup, and pre-testing activities Utilize BIM/VDC to optimize system design and installation Support site safety initiatives and promote a safety-first culture Organize and lead key MEP-related project meetings Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5-7+ years of experience with a general contractor Minimum 3 years of experience in mission-critical/data center, healthcare, or complex MEP commissioning environments Strong technical expertise in MEP system design, installation, and commissioning Solid understanding of construction estimating, delivery methods, and project controls Experience with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Textura, and scheduling software Experience utilizing BIM/VDC processes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Prior team leadership experience preferred LEED accreditation or sustainability knowledge is a plus What's Offered Competitive salary and benefits package 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Short•and long-term disability coverage Paid time off Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically complex projects A collaborative environment with strong career growth potential Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Senior MEP Manager USA USD 140000
