As Schiffman's continues to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Merchandising Data Coordinator to join our thriving Merchandising team. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and flow of merchandise across our organization while supporting the presentation of some of the world's most prestigious jewelry and timepiece brands. Position Overview The Merchandising Data Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining product SKUs, managing merchandise data, facilitating purchase orders, receiving inventory, coordinating transfers between locations, and supporting product photography initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product information is accurate, organized, and ready for both in-store and online presentation. Primary Relationships This position is a member of the Merchandising team and reports directly to the Director of Merchandising. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across the organization to support merchandising initiatives and business growth. Key Responsibilities Receive new merchandise and special-order products from manufacturers into the company database, creating accurate SKUs, product records, and tags. Assist in the creation, processing, and management of purchase orders supporting our 10 retail locations. Coordinate product allocations and inventory transfers to ensure merchandise is distributed effectively across stores. Support product photography initiatives for e-commerce, marketing, and internal database needs. Leverage AI-powered tools to review, validate, and enhance newly created product records and SKU data. Maintain data integrity and ensure merchandising information remains accurate and up to date. Assist with special merchandising projects, reporting, and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field required. 3-5 years of professional experience in merchandising, inventory management, retail operations, data management, or a related discipline. Exceptional organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments and receive constructive feedback. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar creative software. Knowledge of luxury jewelry, fine timepieces, or luxury retail operations. Experience utilizing AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and business processes. Why Schiffman's?
