Job Overview:

The Data Coordinator is responsible for organizing and collecting patient data/information to support the lung surveillance/ screening programs

Qualifications:

Required:

HS Diploma Familiar with medical terminology

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time Days Essential Functions:

Maintain files of surveillance/screening patients Creates and maintains charts as appropriate Screens new patients for surveillance/screening eligibility Registers and schedules patients for testing and physician appointments Answers the telephone and triage calls to the proper person, Calls surveillance patients to assure proper follow-up Assists in obtaining and preparing information/forms per guidelines of surveillance/screening programs Responds to data queries when requested Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergency staffing and schedule changes
