Cafeteria On-site! What you'll do as an Information Technologist 3: Installs, monitors/maintains, configures, upgrades, &/or administers/operates hardware &/or software; network connectivity. Assist with validation of requirements necessary for successful completion and maintenance of the information technology projects. Research, gather & analyze facts to assist in identifying & resolving most complex technical problems. Provide Tier I & II monitoring or support to information system end users or lower-level IT personnel using established methods & procedures; (e.g., operating system functionality; troubleshoot errors; end user login/access credentials; peripheral device setup & management). Document events, problems & their resolution within systems such as Service Now or Project Tracking System (PTS). Information Technology Supplemental Information This position is essential, meaning the duties this job performs are critical to the continued operations of the Ohio Department of Public Safety during a public safety emergency (OAC 123: 1-46-01 & DAS Directive HR-D-11). Whoever fills this position will be required to report for duty during any public safety emergency.
