What You'll Do as a Publication Specialist 1 Provide outline content for semi-annual display change-outs; Research needed artifacts; Contact retirees for information or materials. Create & write content for video displays &/or information cards for each displayed item; Proofread & edit final copy of printed materials; Find & edit photos to accompany displays. Collaborate with Visual Communications to create banners, displays, posters & other visual content. Prepare artifacts for transport to the academy; Remove current display items & return them to the office. Request video copies from the Photo Lab for historical records & for any spotlighted person or family. Reach out to retirees & other groups to solicit donations of specific artifacts.
