Description:
We are looking for a visionary and technical leader to join the Nional Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) Wright-Pterson AFB as the Director of the Da and Future Technology Division. If you are passione about driving the future of space domain intelligence through da, AI, and cloud innovion, this is your opportunity to make a nional impact. In this role, you will lead a highly specialized 7-member team including Technical Experts like the NSIC Lead Da Engineer guiding staff across squadrons and the NSIC Principal Cloud Architect steering cloud contractors. Every day, you will empower this multi-disciplinary team to tackle complex, mission-critical challenges in da analytics, cybersecurity, networking, and hybrid cloud computing to ensure freedom of access and maneuver in the space domain. On a daily basis, you will also serve as the NSIC Commander's representive to rapidly identify and adopt game-changing commercial technologies. You will integre and publish NSIC's da schema to achieve VAULTIS intelligence goals and manage the USSF Space Thre Modeling and Simulion Committee on behalf of the NSIC Commander. Ideal Candide:
The ideal candide is a dynamic, communicive leader with a proven track record of designing da-driven technology solutions and leading cross-functional teams. You must possess prior federal civilian supervisory and leadership experience, alongside a Master's or PhD degree th meets the STEM requirements for the role. Your background should demonstre formidable problem-solving skills and the ability to transle complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, ranging from joint force warfighters and acquisition professionals to senior nional leaders. Key technical experience should include hands-on knowledge of industry tools and methodologies across da analytics and management, cybersecurity, AI/ML architectures, and the design and integrion of hybrid cloud solutions. You must have a broad understanding of IC, Department of the Air Force (DAF), DoD, and nional-level guidelines to ensure stregic alignment and policy applicion. Furthermore, the ideal candide brings strong project management skills to oversee major technical initiives, a deep understanding of how da architecture integres with broader operional workflows, and the collaborive influence needed to build strong relionships across mrixed project teams. Experience designing, implementing, and securing technology and software development stacks within classified environments (specifically the Secret and Top Secret/SCI levels). 2. Completed a minimum of 30 academic semester hours of technical coursework focused on Artificial Intelligence, Dabase Design, Da Management, Network Design, Cloud Architecture, or Network Architecture. 3. Demonstred experience coordining and aligning complex Modeling and Simulion (M&S) architectures across local, joint, and federed external stakeholders. 4. Proven leadership of cross-functional technical teams th include Engineers (Occupional Series GG-0801), Computer Scientists (Occupional Series GG-1550), and Informion Technology Specialists (Occupional Series GG-2210).
