Summer Meals Data Coordinator Grant funded seasonal position for Summer 2026 Reports to: Federal Program Lead About the
Role:
The AmeriCorps Summer Meals Data Coordinator is seasonal position dedicated to supporting the Food Bank's mission of providing nutritious meals for children during the summer months when school is out. This role plays an important part in helping ensure children across the community have access to reliable meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Summer Feeding Data Coordinator works as part of the Summer Meals team to support different aspects of program operations, especially site monitoring and data collection. This is not a staff role, but a paid service volunteer position through Red River Community Corps. More information can be found Red River Community Corps website.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the food bank has the required documentation for each site, including site agreements, FBEO program or agency agreements, food handler's permits, training logs, and pre-operational site visit forms for new sites. Work with coordinators and monitors to keep two-week visits and monitor visits on schedule and that completed forms are uploaded to site folders. Track the dates for meal service at each site, and record when a site is closed or going on field trips (congregate) Make certain sites are submitting meal count sheets in a timely manner and reach out to site managers who are behind or provide incomplete information. Oversee accurate data entry into spreadsheets and keep coordinators updated on progress toward program goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Additional Requirements:
Commitment to the Food Bank's mission and values, including equity, inclusion, and community service. Integrity, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license and current vehicle insurance. Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. A pre-employment background check and drug screening are required.
