Essential Job Functions:
Conducts oneself in the best interest of students, in accordance with the highest traditions of public education and in support of the District's mission. Serve as the first point of contact for school staff in the maintenance and use of the schools Student Information Systems (SIS). Communicates with school and vendors and organizes the set-up and customization of SIS software and related applications. Provides individual and group technical support and training to end-users of SIS systems and related software. Serves as a liaison between the school and new employees determining the required training, forms and documents employees must complete. Conducts Pre- interviews, validates prior employment and schedules Interview for prospective employees. Post job positions Serves as a liaison with school personnel and software provider technical support staff when more complex solutions are required. Ensuring the security of confidential student and staff data and maintains confidentiality. Keeps current with matters related to student reporting and student/parent rights. Maintains records and reports related to work. Maintains effective working relationships with staff, students and patrons. Assist with charter school reporting Serves as the first point of contact for community members in regards to enrollment Assist with Enrollment process Serves as a liaison between the school and new employees determining the required forms and documents that employees must complete. Other Duties:
Display physical, social, mental and emotional soundness in order to execute the duties of the position. Serve as a role model for all students and within the school community. Interact with co-workers, administration, students, parents and the community in positive, supportive and cooperative ways. Encourage the team spirit and contribute as a team member in the decision making processes of the school as facilitated by the building administrator. Attend staff meetings. Contribute to extra-curricular activities and school programs including recess and other duties as requested Maintain and promote The Ivy Schools goals and objectives. Comply with state, federal and school policies, procedures, rules, and the assistant letter of agreement Regular and on-time attendance is required.

Required Qualifications Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have prior experience working in a school setting performing clerical work or assisting administration. Preferred past experience and advanced operational knowledge of student information systems, including but not limited to: Scheduling Synergy I-Ready Gradebook Parent interface set-up (bloomz) Generating reports. Must possess an Oregon state driver's license. Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to read, write, understand and follow multi-step written and verbal instructions in English.
