In-Person $73.73 - $90.87 per Year 2 Years Experience Master's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Susquehanna International Group, LLP seeks Big Data Developer - Mid (Multiple Openings) to autonomously participate in all phases of the entire software development lifecycle from initial requirements gathering through final quality assurance, implementation and subsequent enhancements and support of the product; engage in problem definition, decomposition, and solutions definition within the scope of the application; research, design and develop functional and technical design specifications using knowledge of big data techniques and object oriented programming in a heterogeneous tech environment using Python, Spark or Hadoop on Unix/Linux/Windows; analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; research, design, develop and test software components and data pipelines; develop an understanding of the relevant aspects of the business domain (problems, activities, processes) and apply that understanding to maximize technology value; modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance; help solve business problems and enhance and extend front, middle and back office business capabilities of the firm by contributing to the development of innovative, advanced, stable systems.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent, plus five (5) years of progressive experience developing software applications utilizing any combination Python, Spark or Hadoop in any combination of Unix, Linux, Windows. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus two (2) years of experience developing software applications utilizing any combination of Python, Spark, or Hadoop in any combination of Unix, Linux, Windows.
