This role is responsible for architecting and operating data warehousing and data integration solutions, delivering successful data migrations and ERP data management (including SAP S/4HANA
), and partnering with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, accessible, and secure. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical experience (Azure, data integration, data warehousing) with strong leadership and governance capabilities. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, policies, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Lead design, implementation, and operation of data warehousing and data integration solutions across cloud (Azure) and on-premise systems. Own ERP data management activities, including SAP S/4HANA
data models, master data management, and extraction/transformation workflows for ERP-to-analytics integration. Plan and deliver complex data migrations, consolidations, and data mining initiatives, ensuring data integrity, lineage, and minimal business disruption. Establish and run data quality, metadata management, and master data governance processes; operationalize tools and rules to monitor and remediate data issues. Partner with analytics, BI, and engineering teams to ensure data is accessible for reporting, advanced analytics, and machine learning use cases. Manage vendor relationships and evaluate data management platforms and tools (e.g., Ataccama, Fabric) to support governance, integration, and quality objectives. Build and lead a high-performing data management team; provide coaching, resource planning, and cross-functional leadership to meet delivery targets. Define and track KPIs for data quality, data availability, and platform performance; communicate status and risks to senior stakeholders. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance requirements are embedded in data architecture and processes. Drive continuous improvement and modernization of data platforms, including adoption of cloud-native patterns and automation for repeatable delivery. Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive experience in data management, with demonstrable leadership in enterprise data programs and teams. Proven hands-on experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies, data integration/ETL design, and large-scale data pipelines. Strong experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks) and cloud-native data architectures. Experience managing ERP data (SAP S/4HANA) and integrating ERP systems with analytics and data warehouses. Solid understanding of data governance, master data management, metadata, lineage, and data quality best practices and tools. Experience with migrations, data mining, and analytics enablement for business stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills with a track record of delivering cross-functional programs. Familiarity with or ability to rapidly learn platform tools such as Ataccama and Fabric; certifications in Azure, SAP S/4HANA, or data governance are a plus. Preferred:
experience in analytics, BI tools, and advanced data migration projects; experience in ERP implementation programs and industry-specific data models.
