Full-time About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Data AWS Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native data and analytics solutions. In this role, you will lead the architecture and implementation of modern data platforms, enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven outcomes for enterprise and customer needs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define technical standards, guide development teams, and ensure the delivery of secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions on AWS. Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable data and AI platforms leveraging modern cloud technologies Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and governance for data engineering and analytics solutions Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Provide hands-on guidance to engineering teams on architecture, development, and deployment Build and optimize data workflows using AWS services and distributed processing frameworks Ensure solutions are secure, resilient, and cost-efficient , aligned with enterprise standards Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data solutions Drive innovation in data architecture to improve performance, scalability, and accessibility Required Qualifications Strong experience with AWS-based data engineering and analytics solutions Hands-on expertise in AWS Glue (ETL/ELT) and/or Ab Initio ETL tools Deep understanding of: Amazon S3 (storage, partitioning, lifecycle management) Parquet file formats and query optimization AWS Lambda for event-driven processing Experience working with cloud databases such as: Snowflake Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL Solid knowledge of: AWS Step Functions and orchestration/scheduling frameworks Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing Proven ability to design scalable, distributed data architectures Preferred Qualifications Experience building enterprise data lake / lakehouse architectures Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines and analytics enablement Strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills Work Model This role follows a hybrid work model , requiring 3 days per week onsite in Hartford, CT .

Compensation salary range:
