Under the direction of the Senior Communications Officer (Information Officer II), the Information Officer I (Specialist) assumes a pivotal role on a fast-paced team. This position is charged with independently executing various professional and technical tasks that contribute to the communication strategy aimed at informing and engaging audiences about the activities and objectives of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). This is a hybrid position that will require the selected candidate to report to their assigned headquarter office a minimum of two (2) days a week. Hybrid positions may be eligible for telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California. Include specific metrics you have used (e.g., engagement, reach, click-through rate, watch time, conversions, sentiment). Describe a time you used data to refine or improve a campaign, content strategy, or visual approach following your evaluation of effectiveness. Describe your experience working in a structured approval environment (e.g., government, public agency, regulated industry, or large organization). How did you manage feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining content quality, accuracy, and deadlines?
