$69,944- $101,160 per year (Step 1
- Step 20); Step placement will be determined based on relevant qualifications and professional experience.
- Assist senior staff with development and maintenance of analytics-related software components, scripts, and data integrations.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reporting workflows under established procedures.
- Assist with monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytics platforms, cloud environments, and related network integrations.
- Support user account provisioning, de-provisioning, and periodic access audits for analytics systems.
- Assist with basic scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Perform unit testing and assist with application and data quality assurance.
- Document technical processes, system configurations, data flows, and user-facing materials.
- Respond to user support requests of limited scope and complexity, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Participate in agile development activities, training, shadowing, and cross-functional projects.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, platform administrators, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications This position requires:
- This position requires a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent education and/or applied experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
- Foundational knowledge of programming concepts and basic software development principles.
- General knowledge of application development principles, concepts, frameworks, and tools, including the key phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment).
- Basic understanding of data analytics concepts, databases, and data quality principles.
- Familiarity with networking or cloud computing concepts.
- Ability to follow established procedures, coding standards, and security protocols.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on routine assignments and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies in a structured, mentored setting.
- Ability to provide on-call support as assigned. Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SQL and at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Exposure to modern data platforms or analytics tools (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BI tools such Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight).
- Experience with Linux or command-line environments.
- Interest in either software development, platform engineering, or data analytics.
