We work with government agencies to manage transportation programs for the public good—operating bike parking rooms, smart bike racks, bus stops, and other transit amenities. We partner with cities and transit agencies, such as LADOT and LA Metro, to deploy and operate solutions that improve quality of life and address climate challenges. Our approach leverages systems integration, combining off-the-shelf industrial components into tailored, scalable infrastructure solutions. About the Position We are seeking a Logistics & Data Manager to oversee Tranzito's physical assets and deployment data, ensuring seamless integration between warehouse operations and our enterprise database. Job Overview The Logistics & Data Manager will play a key role in analyzing operational and inventory processes, identifying inefficiencies or gaps, and working cross-functionally to implement and refine improvements.
This role is highly data-centric:
approximately 70-80% of your time will be spent managing deployment schedules, tracking assets, and maintaining data accuracy within Sitetracker and Salesforce. The remaining 20-30% of your time will be hands-on in the warehouse managing physical inventory and ensuring safe operations. Core Focus of the Role This role serves as a bridge between field operations, inventory management, and enterprise systems. The Logistics & Data Manager will evaluate how work is performed, recommend practical improvements, and support the implementation of those improvements within existing systems—primarily Sitetracker—in coordination with system administrators and operational stakeholders. Responsibilities & Duties Act as the primary owner and administrator of deployment data within Sitetracker and Salesforce, ensuring all asset allocations, site statuses, and inventory counts are meticulously tracked. Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics for deployment and inventory. Analyze current operational, field, and inventory workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, or lack of standardization. Develop practical, scalable process improvements in collaboration with operations and field teams. Work with internal system administrators and external support teams to implement process changes within Sitetracker and related systems. Support the configuration, testing, and rollout of workflow updates and process enhancements. Monitor process performance and continuously refine workflows based on field feedback and operational data. Assist in maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across operational systems. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure alignment between documented processes and system workflows. Spend 20-30% of time in the warehouse to support inventory audits, shipping/receiving logistics, and basic inventory management. Act as a liaison between operations, technology, and field teams to support adoption of new or updated processes. Occasional field and warehouse work required.Qualifications & Skills Minimum Requirements:
5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in operations, process improvement, or a related analytical role, preferably with experience designing and/or leading a program. High proficiency with ERP or CRM systems, specifically Sitetracker and Salesforce . Experience managing complex deployment schedules, asset tracking, and inventory data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and database management skills with attention to detail. Ability to translate real-world operational workflows into structured processes and system requirements. Experience collaborating with system administrators or technical teams to implement workflow or system changes. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with reporting or data analysis tools is a plus. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a hybrid desk/warehouse role. Familiarity with workplace safety standards, including OSHA regulations and DOT compliance. Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and physical inventory management. Attributes Highly detail-oriented and process-driven. Comfortable working both in an office setting and in field or warehouse environments. Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams with varying technical backgrounds. Self-starter who can identify issues and proactively work toward solutions. Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
