Manager, Hyperscale Data Center Services

Arayna is seeking a senior leader to drive growth and delivery of engineering and program services for hyperscale data center clients across core markets such as Northern Virginia (IAD). This role is responsible for positioning Arayna as a trusted partner to hyperscalers and their ecosystem of general contractors, A/E firms, and program managers. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in mission-critical environments and understands how to navigate and win work through both direct client engagement and subcontracting partnerships . Key Responsibilities 1. Growth & Market Development Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy targeting hyperscalers and key partners Identify and pursue opportunities for subcontracting, staff augmentation, and direct awards Build relationships with hyperscaler stakeholders across design, construction, and operations Drive pipeline development, capture strategy, and proposal positioning 2. Client & Partner Engagement Serve as the primary interface between Arayna and hyperscaler clients, EPCs, and A/E firms Understand client delivery models (EPCM, design-build, GC-led) and align Arayna offerings accordingly Establish teaming agreements and long-term strategic partnerships Position Arayna as a flexible, high-quality delivery partner for back-office and engineering support 3. Service Offering Development Shape and package Arayna's capabilities into scalable offerings: Engineering design support (electrical, mechanical, controls, BMS/EPMS) BIM, documentation, and as-built development Project coordination and construction admin support QA/QC, commissioning documentation, and turnover packages Program and portfolio management support 4. Delivery Oversight Ensure successful execution of awarded work across engineering and program services Align internal teams (engineering, documentation, PMO) to client expectations Maintain quality, schedule, and cost performance Implement scalable delivery models including offshore/onshore hybrid execution 5. Program & Account Management Manage strategic accounts and grow wallet share within hyperscale clients and partners

Track KPIs:

revenue, utilization, margin, client satisfaction Identify expansion opportunities across lifecycle phases (design → build → operations) Qualifications 5+ years in data center or mission-critical environments Experience working with hyperscalers or major firms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Google, Meta Strong network across IAD data center ecosystem Background in engineering, construction management, or technical program management Proven success in subcontracting or partner-led delivery models Understanding of design and construction lifecycle for large-scale data centers What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) Established partnerships with 5+ key primes Built a qualified pipeline of hyperscale opportunities in IAD Secured initial wins in design support, documentation, or program services Defined repeatable service offerings and pricing models Positioned Arayna as a go-to partner for engineering and program augmentation Why This Role Matters This is not just a sales role—it's about embedding Arayna into the hyperscale delivery ecosystem . Success comes from understanding how work actually flows: Hyperscalers → EPC/GC → A/E → subs …and inserting Arayna at the right leverage points (especially engineering back-office, documentation, and program support , where you already have strong differentiation).

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
