Job Description
Position Summary The Office Information Systems Coordinator / Administrative Support Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing computerized information processing activities within the organization. This role ensures efficient use of office technology, supports administrative operations, and maintains effective records and information management systems. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and control computerized and information processing activities across departments Manage and maintain office information systems, including software applications and databases Support daily administrative operations and provide high-level clerical and coordination assistance Train staff on computer systems, office equipment, and software applications Assist with business communication including drafting reports, correspondence, and presentations Monitor and improve workflows related to administrative and information processing systems Provide supervision or coordination of administrative support staff when applicable Promote effective interpersonal communication and collaboration within the workplace Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Office Administration, or related field Proficiency in computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, database systems) Knowledge of office information systems and administrative support processes Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent oral and written communication abilities Familiarity with records and information management practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience with office automation tools and enterprise systems Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Adaptability to new technologies and systems Work Environment Office-based role with regular use of computers and administrative equipment Training conducted on computers and related office technology Key Competencies Communication (oral and written) Organization and time management Technical proficiency in office systems Interpersonal relations Administrative coordination and support Career Path Opportunities This role can lead to positions such as Office Manager, Information Systems Coordinator, Administrative Supervisor, or Operations Support Specialist.
