We work cross-functionally with clients across multiple industries, staying at the technological forefront by combining innovation, expertise, and real autonomy. Position Overview We don't just execute projects; we design industry-standard architectures and create transformative accelerators, artifacts, and solutions. And you won't just support sales — you'll shape how clients think about data and AI, develop innovative use cases, and position SDG as a trusted technical partner. This is a client-facing role that requires periodic travel and on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities Opportunity Discovery:
Partner with clients and internal account teams to uncover business priorities, data challenges, and strategic goals. Translate those needs into clearly defined use cases and solution approaches that demonstrate tangible business value.
Technical Advisory:
Provide expert guidance on data architectures, Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), Analytics platforms, and Modern Data strategies tailored to each context.
Solution Presentation:
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals to stakeholders at all levels, communicating success stories and SDG's competitive edge.
Pre-Sales Lifecycle Support:
Actively participate from the initial approach to project kick-off, serving as the technical point of reference and ensuring alignment between client needs and organizational capabilities.
Portfolio Growth & Business Development:
Master and promote SDG's full portfolio (Big Data, Cloud, AI, and Modern Data Warehouse), identifying new opportunities that impact the client's bottom line.
Innovation & Representation:
Stay ahead of emerging trends. Represent SDG at strategic events and conferences, strengthening long-term relationships and positioning the brand as a leader.
Qualifications Educational Background:
Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial), Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related technical fields.
Technical Foundation:
Proven experience in data development/architecture or similar technical roles (Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, Data Pipelines, Big Data, Cloud). A strong technical background is essential.
Pre-Sales Experience:
Currently performing (or having previously performed) technical pre-sales duties, with a demonstrated ability to define high-level solutions, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and lead demos.
Business Development Mindset:
Proven ability to defend proposals in competitive processes, evaluate and respond to RFPs, and identify strategic business opportunities. Desired Skills & Experience Familiarity with
AI/ML & GenAI:
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, LLMs, and Generative AI applications within enterprise data solutions.
Reference Architecture Design:
Experience creating blueprints, architectural frameworks, or reusable technology accelerators.
Global Collaboration:
Experience working effectively across distributed teams and multiple geographies. Comfort navigating a global consulting environment where ideas and solutions are developed across borders.
