Nutanix addresses these needs by integrating Nutanix's mature storage and disaster recovery features natively within the Kubernetes control plane. We are seeking a passionate, high energy Product Management professional to lead our container-native storage and sophisticated data services initiatives at Nutanix. You should have a strong grasp of the Kubernetes ecosystem (CSI, CRDs, GitOps) paired with a solid foundation in enterprise storage and disaster recovery topologies. You must confidently navigate ambiguity, balance the distinct needs of IT admins and platform engineers. About the Team At Nutanix, the Product Management team is a dynamic and geodispersed group of individuals who thrive on collaboration and innovation. Your Role Define and champion the long-term vision and product strategy for Cloud Native data services. Act as the primary gatekeeper for the product backlog, prioritizing features based on data-driven insights, market analysis, and revenue impact. Collaborate with engineering, UI/UX, Cloud Native PMs and architecture teams to ship high-quality features. Act as the main subject matter expert for cloud native data services. Partner with outbound Product Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Technical Marketing to create powerful technical content, documentation, white papers, and field enablement programs. Conduct continuous discovery with enterprise IT buyers, developers, and platform engineers to uncover emerging needs in stateful container management, hybrid cloud DR compliance, and AI/ML data infrastructure. Drive joint product initiative with NKP (Nutanix Kubernetes Platform) to provide a cohesive end to end infrastructure solutions for stateful containerised workloads. Expand the technical integrations with strategic container ecosystem partners (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift, AWS
EKS, CNCF
projects), ensuring it remains highly compatible with other leading-edge solutions. What You Will Bring BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields. MBA is a plus. 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focused history of developing cloud-native platforms, enterprise-grade storage solutions, and/or sophisticated data protection software, along with a total of 10+ years of overall work experience. Extensive knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, featuring practical expertise with CSI, CRDs, Helm charts, and the implementation of GitOps workflows for modern deployment. Background in working with hyperscaler Kubernetes engines (EKS, AKS, GKE) or hybrid container environments (Red Hat OpenShift) or knowledge around open source communities will be preferred. Ability to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals. Attention to detail in executing complex projects. Strong bias for action.
