Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the Data Management Strategy development initiative
- Define the execution approach and strategic framework for the exercise
- Develop customer engagement strategies for the Data Management organization
- Assist in defining the organizational structure for the Data Management function
- Develop detailed execution plans including associated costing and implementation considerations
- Assist in the technology selection process to support enterprise data management objectives
- Provide thought leadership and best practices for enterprise data management strategy development
- Partner with client leadership on strategic initiatives involving digital transformation, cloud enablement, and decision sciences
- Define strategic approaches, roadmaps, and execution plans aligned to business objectives
- Anticipate bottlenecks, balance business needs with technical constraints, and manage escalations
- Drive communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple teams with competing priorities
- Utilize presentation, organizational, and customer service skills to gain business alignment and stakeholder buy in Day to Day Responsibilities
- Facilitate planning sessions and strategic discussions with stakeholders
- Develop and manage execution plans, timelines, and deliverables for the strategy initiative
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to align priorities and objectives
- Support organizational planning and operational structure development for data management teams
- Participate in technology evaluations and support vendor or platform selection activities
- Identify risks, constraints, and bottlenecks impacting project execution
- Coordinate communication and collaboration across multiple functional groups
- Support initiatives related to digital transformation, cloud enablement, and decision sciences
- Present recommendations, strategy updates, and execution plans to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure alignment between enterprise data management strategy and organizational objectives Preferred Experience and Attributes
- Experience with enterprise data management architecture and solution development
- Ability to architect and implement solutions based on emerging technologies and evolving technical landscapes
- Experience leading or supporting enterprise data management strategy initiatives
- Experience supporting digital transformation and cloud enablement initiatives
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps and execution plans
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Ability to balance business requirements with technical constraints
- Experience driving collaboration across teams with competing priorities
- Experience working with state or local government agencies is preferred
- Ability to provide strategic thought leadership and best practice recommendations
