Job Description

Join our team as a Technical Data Steward, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing metadata to ensure data governance standards are met, significantly impacting data accessibility and usability. Responsibilities Oversee the documentation and discoverability of datasets, tables, and pipelines. Implement and maintain data cataloging standards and classifications, including sensitive data handling. Define and enforce data governance policies to ensure compliance with regulations. Build and maintain data lineage to support impact analysis and traceability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and usability. Monitor data quality standards and proactively address issues. Manage access governance workflows and handle sensitive data appropriately. Configure integrations and automation with various data platforms and BI tools. Skills Proven experience with data governance and metadata management tools. Strong understanding of data governance policies, including
RBAC/ABAC
models. Proficiency in SQL and data pipeline concepts (ETL/ELT). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders effectively. Preferred Skills Experience with Atlan or similar data management tools. Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Google Cloud Platform, and Snowflake. Knowledge of data quality tools and regulatory compliance frameworks. Exposure to data migration processes and best practices.
