Position Summary The Impact & Evaluation Coordinator plays a key role in helping The YouthVantage Alliance measure, understand, and communicate impact across its lines of service, including Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, Tarrant County Kids, and Vantage Point. This position is responsible for data systems, reporting, outcomes tracking, evaluation processes, dashboards, and performance insights that strengthen decision-making, support fundraising, improve programs, and demonstrate community impact. The Impact & Evaluation Coordinator transforms day-to-day activity into meaningful information that helps the organization grow and serve youth and families more effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate participant, attendance, enrollment, retention, and service data across organizational systems. Manage databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools used across departments. Produce recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for leadership, board, and funders. Monitor key performance indicators and organizational benchmarks. Ensure timely and accurate submission of required reports.
Program Evaluation & Outcomes Measurement:
Coordinate surveys, assessments, feedback tools, and evaluation processes. Track participant outcomes related to engagement, leadership development, confidence, academic enrichment, workforce readiness, and other priority measures. Analyze trends across programs, locations, age groups, and seasons. Support continuous improvement efforts through findings and recommendations. Assist leadership in measuring progress toward strategic plan goals.
Grant & Compliance Support:
Track grant deliverables, service counts, deadlines, and required metrics. Support preparation of grant reports and outcome narratives. Assist with public funding compliance reporting, including city, school district, and other contracted requirements. Maintain organized documentation and reporting calendars.
Fundraising & Communications Support:
Provide data and statistics for donor stewardship, sponsorship proposals, campaigns, newsletters, and annual reports. Translate outcomes into clear and compelling impact summaries. Support external storytelling by pairing metrics with mission results.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Partner with Programs, Development, Finance, and Operations to identify reporting needs. Improve internal processes that reduce manual work and increase efficiency. Train staff on data collection standards and system expectations. Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and evidence-based decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred in nonprofit management, public administration, education, business, statistics, social sciences, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Minimum 2 years of experience in data management, reporting, evaluation, operations, or related field preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting platforms. Experience with databases/CRMs such as DonorPerfect, Compass 360, or similar systems preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to present information clearly to non-technical audiences. High level of discretion and professionalism. Passion for youth development and mission-driven work.
Requirements:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Ability to travel locally to program sites or meetings as needed.
