POSITION DESCRIPTION
Leads the development and execution of enterprise data and analytics capabilities to drive business value, enable informed decision-making, and advance the organization's data maturity. This role provides strategic leadership for the data team across engineering, analytics, reporting, and governance, driving scalable cloud solutions and high-value insights that enable business performance and enterprise decision-making.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
8+ years of experience in data & analytics, with 3 -5+ years in a leadership role Experience leading cross-functional data teams (engineering, analytics, reporting) Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, etc.) Experience with Power BI for dashboarding, reporting, and self-service analytics enablement Familiarity with Alation or similar data governance/catalog tools Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and modern data architectures Industry experience in midstream energy or asset-intensive environments preferred Experience working in Agile or product-based delivery environments Experience with Databricks for data engineering, analytics, and scalable processing
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of SQL, Python or similar languages
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Masters Degree
