At least 3 years' teaching experience Prior experience in using academic data to impact instruction and school systems thinking and planning Campus Testing Coordinator experience (preferred) At least 1 year of leadership experience (campus or district leadership team) (preferred) At least 2 years' experience providing professional development(preferred) Experience working with district's student information system (preferred) Experience analyzing, processing, and reporting complex data sets (preferred) Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensure district-wide compliance with all federal and state accountability requirements including assisting Campus Testing Coordinators (CTCs) and the Director of Assessment during test administrations and windows. Collaborate within and across ECISD departments in the coordination of assessment and testing including with the acquisition of test materials and results interpretationat the direction of the Director of Assessment, training of and coordination with other district teams and departments (human resources, police department, district technology teams, Academics, Bilingual / ESL, Special Education, Guidance & Counseling etc.) as needed Assist with the distribution of test results to campus personnel, parents, and administrative departments; Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required including maintaining necessary documentation for assessment reporting (pre- and post-admin, other documentation as required by TEA), including Oaths of Test Security and Confidentiality, professional development sign-in sheets, seating charts, and other documents auditable by the Texas Education Agency. Complete the pre-work, planning, coordination, and successful execution of testing programs throughout the district. Input new student information and update student enrollment in the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE), including monitoring the arrival of new students and the withdrawal of current students to ensure all students are registered in TIDE with the support of campus staff. Engage in the maintenance, validation, and cleaning of student demographic data in TIDE throughout and prior to the end of state assessment windows for accountability to ensure accurate data reporting to the Texas Education Agency in collaboration with campus testing coordinators and district level special populations teams Collaborate directly with the district's Technology/IT department to ensure comprehensive infrastructure readiness for all online assessments, including coordinating device preparation, secure browser installations, network bandwidth verification, and real-time technical troubleshooting during testing windows. Order, distribute, and oversee test materials for use in testing programs throughout the district for state and local assessments, including Credit-by-Exam materials and program coordination. Maintain a working knowledge of all district assessments and their local and state accountability implications. Communicate with various departments in relation to testing requirements, logistics, security, etc. Assist out of school testers with the online registration process, testing opportunities, and assist campus personnel in arranging for testing. Develop and conduct required training for all local and state assessments to all district staff including preparing training materials in accordance with dictates by the Texas Education Agency and in lie with local policy and regulation, and providing required training for test security and testing requirements to district staff Manage testing logistics and accommodations software for the district (such as Cambium and Testhound) including performing regular maintenance activities, managing users, and managing software connections. Organize, train, and participate in active monitoring of campuses during state assessment windows, including campus visits, monitoring of testing areas, testing documentation, testing procedures, and testing personnel. Conduct annual secure room audits for the district and on campuses to ensure the security of testing materials, historical documentation, and access according to Texas Education Agency requirements and district procedures. Monitor, report, and investigate information regarding testing irregularities and immediately report to Director of Assessment Remain knowledgeable about assessment policies impacting various district teams and departments (Academics, Emergent Bilingual, Special Education, and other student populations) Perform duties in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner as defined in the TEA code of Ethics for Educators and ECISD Employee Handbook including maintaining security and ethical use of student data in accordance with FERPA Attend necessary regional and state assessment and accountability workshops, meetings and conferences including TEA Webinars (student assessment, performance reporting, etc.), Texas Statewide Network of Assessment Professionals (TSNAP), Lead4Ward, Accountability Connect Texas School Alliance, and / or Texas Assessment Conference, etc. Other duties as assignedin alignment with district, division, and / or department mission, vision, and priorities Working Conditions:

Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions, and maintain sustained concentration on complex data. Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and prolonged use of a computer terminal and monitor. Occasional light to moderate lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds) of training materials, testing materials and boxes. Occasional districtwide and statewide travel; may be required to work after hours and weekends.
