Job Description
The Data Coordinator II is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting primary, secondary, quantitative, and qualitative data through recorded data, statistical surveys, and sampling. This role is expected to independently extract relevant and pertinent data, collect, enter, organize, and analyze data from primary resources using company systems and software. The position continues to build knowledge of manufacturing standards and business needs while supporting process improvements and achievement of goals including on-time production, quality, safety, and cost.
Position Responsibilities May Include:
Collect, organize, maintain, and analyze company-specific data and reports for production, training, labor distribution, attendance, efficiency, safety, parts, quality, etc.
Enter, validate, and reconcile data into appropriate systems/databases/files; update dashboards and generate recurring and ad-hoc reports as needed (LFP data & reports, projects, verification of DFP entry into MAPICS, daily/weekly/monthly scrap reporting, etc.)
Analyze data through measuring, comparing, visualizing, and interpreting data across multiple functions including Manufacturing, Training, Staffing, Workforce Planning, Quality, Safety, and Attendance to identify trends and support informed business decisions
Create and maintain pivot charts, pivot tables, and standardized reporting tools for data tracking and reporting
Identify data cleansing opportunities within source systems and recommend improvements to data accuracy and collection of new data points
Track, analyze, and report NCNs (Non-Conformance Notifications)
Review ISO documents and update with Manufacturing Engineers as required
Collaborate with business leaders on areas of opportunity and support process improvement initiatives
Order and track supplies for the department
May provide guidance or support to Data Coordinator I roles
Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs.

Knowledge & Skills:
Working knowledge of manufacturing production operations
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Excel - pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas); knowledge of database applications/systems required
MS SharePoint and Access experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to analyze data and present findings in clear, easy-to-understand formats
Effective verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills
Strong team player with a sense of urgency and commitment to business objectives
Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements
Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job.
Competency:
Experience:
3+ years collecting and analyzing data using Excel
Manufacturing experience preferred
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED required MS Office Excel training or equivalent experience
