Onsite Hybrid Responsibilities:

Define and promote data architecture strategies, patterns, standards, and guidelines. Provide technical leadership across complex projects and initiatives. Guide the adoption of cloud-native data solutions and data integration patterns. Champion data-driven decision-making and reusable patterns, standards and guidelines. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate emerging technologies. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards. Support mainframe migration and modernization efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 12+ years of experience in distributed systems, including 3+ years with cloud databases. Experience in financial services domain.

Understanding / Experience

with the brokerage domain would be a plus. Skills & Competencies Expertise in relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL), distributed SQL (CockroachDB, YugabyteDB), NoSQL (Aerospike), in-memory databases, data warehouses (Snowflake, Apache Iceberg) and Kafka streaming. Proven ability to architect high-volume, high-performance transactional systems. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS

RDS, EC2, EMR, S3

) and hybrid environments. Experience building scalable data solutions (OLTP, ODS, MDM, data warehousing & analytics platforms). Experience with data Security and data and functional authorization methods Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging cloud data technologies. Hands-on experience in logical and physical data modeling Experience with data movement (ETL, ELT) technologies Strategic thinker with strong technical leadership and agile delivery experience. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills. Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
