No Qualifications:
Required Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree, including or supplemented by course work in the principles, concepts, and methods relevant to the section, office, or departmental program or initiative. Five (5) years of experience in data management and reporting, some of which shall have been in a supervisory or leadership role. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience. Knowledge of theories, procedures, practices, materials, methods, and regulations and/or legislation related to data and/or data management and analysis. Knowledge of school organization, mission, and the requirements for assigned function to accomplish mission. Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting. Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects. Skill in personnel, financial, and administrative management. Ability to manage and supervise program activities and personnel. Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Human Resources Major Duties/Essential Functions:
Plans, designs, implements, revises, and supervises the multifaceted activities of data management of the department. Administers, projects, and allocates assigned and required resources ? physical, fiscal, and human. Oversees projects from development of requirement definition through completion. Supervises and coordinates the FCPS Medicaid Program. Prepares and/or coordinates written and oral reports and analyses to identify and interpret trends or patterns in data sets that communicate key insights. Creates complex data queries for mandated special education staffing and funding reporting. Manages risk and matters of compliance related to local, state, federal regulations, policies and mandates. Manages department servers and supports the maintenance of applicable software applications. Assists with the planning of policy and short- and long-term objectives. Plays a key role in developing strategies for achieving the goals contained within the FCPS Strategic Plan and is accountable for outcomes. Directs the development of long-range program plans, budgets, staffing profiles, human resources management, and related strategies and procedures that ensure the program mission is accomplished. Represents the program, department or the Division in negotiating or facilitating resolution regarding matters of significance. Develops and maintains working relationships with school, county and outside agency personnel. Presents information and recommendations to senior management team or School Board. Negotiates and/or manages contracts, grants, partnership agreements and/or memoranda of understanding/agreements. Oversees the work of vendors or contractors. Performs related duties as required or assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Per the FCFPSA collective bargaining agreement, this position is eligible for telework as defined by Regulation 4417
