Job Description

Experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in enterprise data modeling, OLTP database design, and retail business processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance data architectures that support retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, supply chain, customer management, sales, and omnichannel commerce. Design and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture aligned with business objectives. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for retail applications. Establish data standards, governance practices, and architecture guidelines. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of transactional systems. Create and maintain normalized and dimensional data models. Perform data analysis and translate business requirements into data structures. Define entity relationships, data dictionaries, metadata, and lineage documentation. Support data integration and master data management initiatives. Design high-volume OLTP databases supporting retail operations. Optimize database performance, indexing strategies, partitioning, and query tuning. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and transactional reliability. Support real-time and near-real-time processing requirements.
