Pay Range:
$145,613.52 to $225,701.06 Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more. •This position is not eligible for sponsorship Director of IT Data Services Kwik Trip is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of IT Data Services to lead our enterprise data strategy and operational delivery. In this role, you will oversee the design, governance, and operationalization of scalable data platforms that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will lead cross-functional teams focused on data architecture, engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and AI and machine learning initiatives, ensuring the integrity, security, availability, and practical use of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the IT Data Services department, including multiple teams of managers, architects, and engineers Define and execute short to mid-term 1 to 3 year data strategies aligned with business goals Own the operational delivery of data services, ensuring platforms, pipelines, and reporting solutions are reliable, scalable, and meet defined service levels Build and maintain enterprise data architecture, models, and blueprints Collaborate with leadership across departments to break down data silos and promote data accessibility Oversee the development, support, and continuous improvement of data warehouses, analytics platforms, and reporting tools Drive data quality, integrity, and usability across the organization Establish and manage operational processes for data ingestion, transformation, monitoring, and incident response Own and lead enterprise AI and advanced analytics initiatives, including governance, platform enablement, and alignment to business use cases Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support data initiatives and compliance What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field 4 to 6 years of experience in enterprise data management, data architecture, or IT leadership Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex data solutions Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, master data management, and data governance Experience with data platform tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Astronomer, Sigma, Informatica, Power BI, and ETL platforms Strong communication and strategic planning skills Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences High level of integrity, confidentiality, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Experience operationalizing data platforms and scaling AI or advanced analytics solutions within an enterprise environment
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Flexibility may be required to meet business needs. This would be onsite at our La Crosse Support Campus.
