Anaheim, CA Contract:
W2 only, 3 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or
CEI Pay:
$18 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match This role focuses on validating field data and ensuring accuracy across facility, infrastructure, and asset records. You'll act as a key link between real-world conditions and digital systems, supporting maintenance and AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct field inspections to validate facility assets and infrastructure data Compare real-world conditions with records, drawings, and GIS data (ArcGIS) Identify discrepancies and document required updates or corrections Collect field data using mobile tools (e.g., GIS apps, tablets) Partner with maintenance teams, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve data gaps Update asset management systems and GIS databases Document field conditions through notes, photos, and reports Support development of data validation processes and standards Follow all site safety protocols during fieldwork Required Qualifications 0-2 years of experience in field inspection, maintenance, AEC, or related work Exposure to facilities, utilities, infrastructure, or construction environments Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Familiarity with GIS, CAD, asset management systems, or construction documentation Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to problem-solve and learn new technologies Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Experience with Esri ArcGIS tools (ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Field Maps, etc.) Background in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, or Maintenance Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents Knowledge of data validation, asset lifecycle management, or digital twins Experience working across systems (GIS, CAD, BIM, CMMS) Education Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) Additional Details Short-term assignment with potential extension Open to recent graduates or current students in relevant fields Why Should I Apply?
