From major generation projects, electrification and decarbonization programs to expand grid capacity, to high voltage interconnectors and offshore grids, we are integrating a multitude of these solution elements to build a cleaner and more resilient energy future. We are seeking an innovative GIS Analyst to help us grow and deliver electrical transmission and generation projects in North America. In this role, you will support energy infrastructure projects by performing spatial analysis, managing geospatial data, and developing mapping applications. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, planners, and project teams to deliver high-quality geospatial insights that drive decision-making. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our growing team.
Responsibilities will include:
Perform GIS analysis to support energy and power projects (transmission lines, substations, generation sites, etc) Manage and maintain geospatial datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy Create high-quality maps, visualizations, and technical reports for internal and client use Develop and support WebGIS applications (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, or similar platforms) Conduct spatial modeling and analysis (routing, site suitability, environmental constraints, etc.) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, environmental, and project management staf Ensure compliance with data standards, workflows, and regulatory requirements #LI-CC1 #epjobs #naepjobs Relevant professional GIS certifications (e.g., Esri Technical Certification, GISP, or similar) or equivalent hands-on experience in GIS analysis and geospatial data management 2+ years of practical experience in GIS (professional or project-based) Proficiency with Esri software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise) Experience with geospatial data management and databases Experience developing or supporting WebGIS applications and services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Engaging in verbal and written communications with the design team and other disciplines. Identifying problems, develop appropriate solutions, and request assistance where necessary. Working effectively with multi-disciplinary global project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
