Job Summary:
This position will provide support to the Infrastructure Capital Planning & Data Management Group. The position will assist in updating Asset Registers for linear assets and structures database with most recent inventory and condition information, identifying missing attributes for streetlights in GIS, map preparation for capital projects and file conversion of old CCTV records to MP4 format.

May- August Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Update asset register for water, wastewater and storm water with recent inventory and condition inspection results Identify and compile missing attributes for streetlight GIS data Provide support in preparing GIS maps for various ongoing capital projects Review and verify structures database information on site File format conversion from MPG to MP4 Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Experience:
Must be e nrolled in Engineering undergrad / college program, preferably majoring in GIS / Geomatic Engineering Candidates with a minimum of 1 year work experience are preferred Knowledge with report writing, process mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a definite asset Database design and data analytics Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.) & o ther technologies / equipment (specify): ArcGIS Pro, Candidates with Power BI knowledge is preferred Skilled in collecting, organizing and managing information Able to work independently with minimal supervision Detail oriented and self-motivated
