Job Description
- Short Description
- Bowman has an opportunity for a Survey GIS Data Technician II to join our team in Chesterfield, MO.
- Purpose
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team of field staff and other technicians to review survey and utility data collected in the field for accuracy and completeness. Work on projects of greater scope and complexity.
- Responsibilities
- Leadership and Direction
- + Perform work under moderate supervision. Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
- At the Operational and Company Level
- + Create, organize, manipulate, and retrieve GIS data for reporting, analysis, and management or client presentations. + Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphic components.
- Do the Work
- + Utilize geographic information systems and associated software to produce, display, and analyze geographic information.
- Success Metrics and Competencies
- + Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Qualifications
- + Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
