Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Collect and compile geographic data from diverse sources such as maps, surveys, and satellite imagery. Digitize and enter information into GIS databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. Create and update GIS maps and layers using specialized software, maintaining data integrity through quality control checks. Collaborate with various departments to integrate GIS data into organizational processes and support technical users.

Required:

Educational background in geography, GIS, or a related field; consideration may be given for relevant certificates or associate degrees. Proficiency with GIS software and databases, demonstrating strong technical and analytical abilities. Attention to detail and the capacity to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. Strong communication skills enabling support and guidance for GIS users and effective project collaboration.
