JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).
This role is a backfill for two team members who are moving to a long‑term consolidation project (approximately 3 years). The contractor will support the team's normal day‑to‑day workload, which includes extracting data for other internal teams, responding to regulatory data requests, creating specialized and interactive maps using Esri products, and performing data analysis using various tools such as Databricks.
2. What does a typical day look like?
Work is assigned through JIRA boards, where tasks are prioritized from highest to lowest. Tasks vary significantly in complexity and duration—some may take 30 minutes, while others may take several days. New team members will initially handle simpler data extraction tasks, with more complex analysis and mapping work added as familiarity increases. The expectation is that individuals complete one assigned task before moving to the next

The team is described as very collaborative and supportive. Team members regularly help each other through Teams chat, assist with problem‑solving, and support training efforts. The environment encourages independence while still emphasizing teamwork
