Job Description Position Summary Intern will assist team in mapping and verifying agricultural and irrigated fields. They will verify outputs from the python package 'agribound' to test whether polygons a) represent agricultural fields and b) if possible, assess whether fields are irrigated by analyzing satellite imagery. Full Consideration Date 6/15/2026 Work Unit Description https://www.remote-sensing-hydrology.com/ Essential Job Duties Use GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS Pro Analyze satellite imagery Validate irrigation and agricultural status of polygons created from "agribound" python package Conditions of Employment Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires) Supervision No one would report to this position.
