We are seeking a motivated Remote Sensing Technician to join our growing survey team in Morgantown, WV. The qualified individual will perform survey data collection and analytical processes in support of engineering, environmental, surveying and constructions services for the energy, transportation and land development industries. Job Duties /
Responsibilities:
Develop flight plans. Maintain flight logs and equipment. Execute UAS and Terrestrial data collection efforts. Assist with survey data collection when necessary. Generate project deliverables through post processing including the use of Pix4D, TerraSolid, AutoCAD, Global Mapper and ArcGIS and Register 360.
Qualifications:
Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, sUAS required. Bachelor or Associates degree in survey, GIS or computer aided drafting preferred. Two years' experience in survey, drafting technology or related field. Experience with multirotor and fixed wing sUAS. Experience placing and measuring ground control points and data validation points with survey grade GPS equipment. Develop flight plans, submit LAANC authorizations, check weather, and coordinate airspace restraints with FAA and controlling authorities. Terrestrial Lidar and UAS mapping experience including volumes, contour and topographic mapping preferred. Valid Driver's License, acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR), ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background screening.
