LIS System Analyst II (Casual - 19hrs per Wk /No Benefits)

JOB SUMMARY
- To provide intermediate analysis and documentation of existing hospital and administrative procedures and recommend alternative procedures for improvement of work flow, either manual or automated, maximizing productivity and controlling costs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years related experience.
MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS
- Plans the study of current departmental systems.
- Gathers and organizes information on system including present operating procedures.
- Analyzes data and considers all available solutions, either manual or automated.
- Organizes and documents study and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems.
- Conducts operational effectiveness reviews.
- Conducts preliminary survey of vendor solutions.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required.
