LIS System Analyst II (Casual - 19hrs per Wk /No Benefits)

JOB SUMMARY
  • To provide intermediate analysis and documentation of existing hospital and administrative procedures and recommend alternative procedures for improvement of work flow, either manual or automated, maximizing productivity and controlling costs.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field and three years related experience.
  • MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS
  • Plans the study of current departmental systems.
  • Gathers and organizes information on system including present operating procedures.
  • Analyzes data and considers all available solutions, either manual or automated.
  • Organizes and documents study and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems.
  • Conducts operational effectiveness reviews.
  • Conducts preliminary survey of vendor solutions.
  • Adheres to internal controls established for department.
  • Performs related duties as required.
